The 3rd Annual Senior Safety Day will be held on July 20th. Organized by the Senior Center of Greater Richmond, the event is being held at the First Baptist Church in Richmond partnering with the Virginia Office of the Attorney General, Mark Herring. Event sponsors are Dominion Energy, CareMore and Anthem HealthKeepers, and Senior Connections, Capital Area Agency on Aging.

This is a FREE Conference for Seniors to learn from the experts about safety at home and what small changes make a home safer, especially for those who live alone. Choose up to three workshops to attend on safety or security topics, so some exercise, and visit exhibits from organizations that provide useful services and products. Free lunch will be provided and an opportunity to shred up to 5 large bags of documents no longer needed.

The event is located at First Baptist Church at Monument and the Boulevard (2709 Monument Avenue, Richmond 23220). Parking is available off of Monument on Mulberry and Robinson Streets.
