Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Chance Fischer has quickly garnered a following through his energetic live performances and clever lyricism. His music is pensive and speaks to the duality of man in a journey through life, fusing elements of classic east coast lyricism with drum and bass, soul, electronica, and southern trap. Fischer’s technique hasn’t gone unnoticed by rap’s frontline tastemakers. Chance has been featured on websites and publications including Pigeons & Planes, The Smoking Section, RVAMag, Style Weekly, among others. Chance’s music is conversational, as described by Rob Markman, former Deputy Editor of XXL Magazine and Director of Artist Relations at GENIUS. He has shared the stage with many leaders in music including Talib Kweli, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, and No BS! Brass Band.
New album drops in September – “Thy Will Be Done”
