If you can’t make it: Donations are also accepted at the CARITAS Furniture Bank Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2220 Stockton Street
Last fiscal year, CARITAS served 1,760 individuals through the Furniture Bank. These donations will touch many lives every single day right here in our own community. We look forward to bringing everyone together for this special event.
More about CARITAS: United by our compassion, CARITAS helps our most vulnerable neighbors break the cycles of homelessness and addiction to reclaim their dignity. For more than 30 years, CARITAS has provided effective, permanent solutions to community members dealing with the crisis of homelessness and/or substance use disorder in the Richmond area. Its programs include The Healing Place, the Emergency Shelter, The Furniture Bank, CARITAS Works, and the CARITAS Recovery Residences. Through these four programs, CARITAS provides men and women with the tools to make a successful transition to dignity and self-sufficiency.  You can learn about all of the organization’s services at www.caritasva.org.
