Our guest speaker in January will be Dr. Bruce Venter, the author of Kill Jeff Davis: The Union Raid on Richmond, 1864. He is going to share the fascinating story of this attempt by Federal cavalry led by Brigadier General Judson Kilpatrick that had as its primary goal the freeing of Union troops held prisoner in Richmond. We will also be voting on the Best Presentation for 2017 and on the Best Dug Relic for 2017. We’re looking for a great turnout to start the New Year!
