  • September 1, 2021 | 12:00 pm

Wednesdays, 8.18-9.1
Noon-1:30pm
Facilitator: Elaine Kiziah, PhD

Inspired by poet Ross Gay’s collection of short essays on delight, we’ll enrich ourselves and our lives by paying attention to what delights us – and to other aspects of the human experience that come along for the ride. Themes for the session are:
* Delight and your relationship with it
* Delight and imperfection
* Delight and human connection
One or two of Gay’s essays are shared at the start of each session, followed by related journaling prompts, a time for writing, and then a rich debrief discussion. The final session in the series is an opportunity to review and learn from the themes that arose during the previous writes. Participants do not need to purchase the book in order to participate.

What You’ll Take Away
– Tools to begin a practice of delight!
– Knowledge of journaling practices to use for self discovery
– Your own original writings on the topic of delight for future growth and reflection

You will receive the Zoom link after registration.
