Gayton BapOst Church is excited to announce their 10thAnniversary celebraOon of Jazz Na&vity with David Esleck. Come and kick off the Christmas season with great music for a great cause. Jazz NaOvity includes many holiday favorites in styles ranging from big band swing to Trans-Siberian Orchestra style rock. The church is hosOng five idenOcal Jazz Na&vity concerts at 7pm onFriday, December 1st, 4pm and 7pm on Saturday, December 2nd and at 4pm and 7pm on Sunday, December 3rd. Gourmet coffee and desserts will be available fromStarbucks Coffee Company during each performance.

This event draws music aficionados as well as those who simply enjoy the music of the Christmas season. Last year, more than 2,000 people enjoyed Jazz Na&vity at five shows and the event garnered over $25,000 for Feed My Starving Children. To accommodate our sell out performances, we are uOlizing our larger mulO-purpose room in the church to increase our seaOng by 25% as well as our ability to fund more meals for children and families in need. During Super Bowl weekend 2017, volunteers from across Richmond gathered at Gayton BapOst Church to pack our 1 millionth meal purchased with proceeds from Jazz NaOvity.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is an organizaOon that targets feeding programs to children who are in the most severe circumstances, those suffering from severe malnutriOon and threatened with death from starvaOon. FMSC has supplied food to over 70 countries including the meals that were packed at Gayton BapOst this past year which were sent to Swaziland, Africa. With the proceeds, Gayton BapOst Church is hosOng a meal packing program on Super Bowl Weekend 2018. In fact, two of our church families were able to visit HaiO and witness how our work was put into acOon. Aaron and Kim Lee will be sharing their personal stories at Jazz NaOvity and are also available for interviews.

David Esleck (EÉ-slick) is a musician, composer, and producer whose composiOons have been performed and broadcast around the world. He is a first round Grammy Award nominee, and has performed for and with Presidents, as well as musical figures ranging from The PreservaOon Hall Jazz Band to Tony Benned. Currently he is on faculty at the University of Richmond.
