A FREE Creative Writing Classes for Veterans!
The Mighty Pen Project generates, preserves, shares, and honors stories written by military veterans and those touched by their service.
The Virginia War Memorial is proud to offer the Mighty Pen Project each semester as part of our ongoing mission to Honor Veterans, Preserve History, Educate Youth, and Inspire Patriotism in all.
The Virginia War Memorial hosts the Mighty Pen Project classes free-of-charge. The classes are semester-length, collegiate-level writing classes that give veterans and their supporters the academic tools, rigor, and continuing support they need to most effectively tell the stories of their choosing.
Fall 2020 class Registration:
September 16 thru December 9, 2020, every Wednesday, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Graduation & Reading: December 16, 2020
