Date(s)

Join us as we commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I, the Great War.
In June 1919, the Allied nations signed the Treaty of Versailles with Germany, ending the First World War. The treaty forced the Germans to admit sole responsibility for the war, imposed a huge indemnity that destroyed the German economy during the early 1920s, and humiliated the German people, who vowed to take their revenge. Listen to Professor Mark Malvasi, as he shares the interesting story of the armistice and its legacy.
