Join us for a Halloween themed event Voices from the Shadows. Costumed guides portraying “agents of death” will lead participants by candlelight on a spine-chilling tour through the historic Tudor Hall Plantation and battlefield that were fought over generations ago. At each stop, guests will encounter civilians and soldiers who worked, fought and died at the historic site or in the local area. These ghostly figures will recount their stories accompanied by sights and sounds from the past.

Based on true figures and stories of the Civil War era, the naturally haunting atmosphere of Pamplin Historical Park gives visitors a rare opportunity to experience emotional stories of those who came before us. “Words have no power to impress the mind without the exquisite horror of their reality.” – Edgar Allen Poe
