‘Legends on Grace: Desirée Roots’

In another fabulous installment of “Legends on Grace,” the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance brings us Desirée Roots. The 90-minute, up-close-and-personal event features this accomplished Richmond legend in a one-on-one conversation with another local personality, reporter Antoinette Essa.
Desirée Roots grew up in a musical family, and has carried that inspiration throughout her life. She performs regularly in theatrical productions, concerts, and festivals, in operatic, R&B, gospel, and jazz genres. Her versatility within different genres of music keeps her busy, but her favorites are classical, gospel, and jazz.
The event features a live, in-person event on June 25 at 8 p.m. as well as a virtual option, presented the week after the show.
