There’s something about the singer-songwriter, the self-contained musical artist whose compositions succeed largely on the strength of his or her imagination.
Join the Henrico Pops Chorus as they present “A Tribute to Singer/Songwriters”. You’ll hear music by legendary artists: James Taylor, Carole King, Billy Joel, Pete Seger, John Denver, Carly Simon, Paul McCartney, Kenny Loggins, Dolly Parton and many more. These artists shared their emotions and experiences in a way that touched our lives. Their sweet harmonies, gentle folk ballads, sometimes hilarious or heartwarming songs will bring joy to all who hear them.
We welcome local singer/songwriter Susan Greenbaum as she sings with the chorus songs by Carole King, Carly Simon and a few of her own original pieces.
