Weinstein JCCDr. Bob Weisberger taught himself the fundamentals of photography on his father’s Balda rangefinder camera. Using the same camera, he photographed the streets of Jerusalem during his junior year of college. Medical school and a medical career took Bob away from photography until his retirement a few years ago when a Nikon DSLR replaced the Balda, along with a bag of lenses. He says of this exhibition, “These shots are the result: my attempt to freeze moments of life and space and feeling and color, stopping time to see the things which might otherwise pass by, perhaps unseen, perhaps unappreciated.”
This show will run in the Sara D. November Gallery Nov. 10 – Dec. 8.
