Exploring the Images, Symbols, & Meaning in Our Dreams

Tap into your inner wisdom and intuition through exploring your dreams. In this course you will learn techniques for working with the images, symbols and energy of your dreams. Have trouble remembering your dreams? We will work on improving that skill too!
We will explore the history of dreamwork, study various methods of working with dreams, and learn to explore the emotions, stories and images that our dreams send, together we’ll discover how we may use those insights and apply them to our daily lives.
What You’ll Take Away:
– How dreams can help unlock the unconscious mind (and why that matters!)
– Insight into how a dream group works
– What the symbols in your dreams may mean and how to apply that wisdom to your everyday life.

About Carrington and Kim
Carrington Brown graduated from the Haden Institute Spiritual Direction Program and the Haden Institute Dream Program. She has a BA in painting, is a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga instructor, and holds a certificate from the Sacred Plant Traditions Foundations Herbal Program. Recently retired from a 40-year career as a landscape designer, Carrington works as a Restorative Justice facilitator in the elementary schools, the court referral program, and the women’s prison. She has a regular meditation practice and leads ongoing dream groups at The Innerwork Center and elsewhere in the Richmond community.
Kim Vann is a certified Dream Worker and Spiritual Director with The Haden Institute out of Asheville, NC. After working in the fields of land use and crime prevention planning for county government, Kim was led to seek more of a relationship with her Inner Spirit. After a life changing dream, her journey as a seeker began in earnest. Kim owns her own practice (https://findingthethread.org/), guiding others in dream work and spiritual direction. Kim actively works with her dreams, leads dream groups, and works with dreamers one-on-one.
