Date(s)

  • September 25, 2021 | 10:00 am

Saturday, 9.25
10 am-3 pm
Location: Serenity Farms (Maidens, VA)
Facilitators: Vicki Saunders, Hollee Freeman, Shay Wilson, Sherry Klauer, Priscilla Burbank
Feel your cares melt away (at least for a few hours!) and set aside dedicated time for YOU at the beautiful Serenity Farm in Maidens. Are you itching to be back out in the world? We are too! Let’s get outside together, surrounded by a group of supportive women (yes, in person!). Join us for this special fall retreat as we break loose from pandemic, reconnect with people and places OUTSIDE of our own home and ignite our spirits once again!
We will experience a variety of inner work practices throughout the day: movement, creative arts, music and mindfulness from our favorite and most popular facilitators.
Vicki will be our guide throughout the day as some of our favorite facilitators will lead us in special practices:
* Connect back to your body through a gentle yoga practice with Sherry
* Get your creative juices flowing with Shay
* Let your voice be heard with Priscilla
* Bring it all together and put pen to paper with Hollee as she helps us assimilate the day and set intentions to bring this peace and energy back home with us
Its time to fully explore the possibilities of inner work OUTSIDE. Space is limited!
What You’ll Take Away
– Renewed energy for your practice
– Comfort from connecting with nature and a community of women in person
– Tools and practices you can take with you for self discovery for years to come!
If cost is a barrier, access funding is available for all of our programs. Email rachel@innerworkcenter.org for more information.
About the facilitators:
Vicki Saunders has been involved with The Innerwork Center (formerly Chrysalis) for over 20 years, including 2 terms as President, 5 years on the Executive Committee, and is one of our most loved faculty members. Vicki is a Jungian analyst who has over two decades experience working in Human Resources, Coaching and Business Management. Vicki has been married for 40 years to an amazing man who really “gets” her, and has two fabulous sons who are married to two incredible women who are all leading their best lives. Vicki is also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren. A quote that inspires Vicki is the poem: I Will Not Die an Unlived Life By Dawna Markova I will not die an unlived life I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which came to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which came to me as blossom, goes on as fruit.
