As a singer-songwriter, Matt Venuti is one of a kind. He’s also a poet, storyteller, and masterful instrumentalist whose lyrics speak from “the heart of the road” and “the rhythm of life” — an honest, soul-filled, and often humorous musical journey that will touch your heart in a beautiful way. Matt plays the Hang as well as the highly expressive and dynamic Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) wind synthesizer, Matt is among the earliest players to explore these instruments and he tours nearly year-round to share his musical gifts in venues that range from house concerts to concert halls. He enhances his solo shows with a looping device that allows him to create lush layers of cinematic and other-worldly sounds, effects and melodies all performed in the moment and never pre-recorded.
