Facilitators: Carolina Bautista-Velez & Korantema Pierce Williams, MS

What’s at the intersection of mindfulness and social change? How can we remain present amidst feelings of despair, hopelessness, and doubt? How can we move from reflection to action? In this 4-session program, Carolina and Korantema will facilitate deep dialogue across cultures to challenge bias, injustice and discrimination. Explore how mindfulness can serve not only as an individual tool, but a powerful way to impact our collective well-being. We’ll use various ancestral and cultural practices to create a space allowing us to hold each other with compassion through different shared experiences. Showing up in the world starts from within. Join us as we do the inner work to cultivate fertile ground for social change.

If cost is a barrier, access funding is available for all of our programs. Email rachel@innerworkcenter.org for more information.
