On September 1st from 1pm – 3pm, Richard Rose will be presenting, signing, and selling copies of his newly-released book, “Coming Around,” at Book People bookstore. Book People is located at 536 Granite Avenue, in Richmond, Virginia.

“Coming Around” is a story in verse chronicling the life and times of the fictional slave Simon Abouette, the family who buys him, and their descendants, set in Louisiana and in Richmond, Virginia.
