Our breath has immense medicinal value and offers us an indispensable dial to fuel our bodies vehicles, ridding of disease. Oxygenating spaces within that were once asleep, affords us the opportunity of waking up to our highest potential. The Art of Breath series has been designed to take you on a journey, reaching a deeper and meaningful connection with your breath (and in turn, with yourself) which will result in clarity, activating creating, processing stuck and stored emotion, grounding and a sense of feeling safe in the body, neutralizing of the ego, forgiveness of self- and others, a strong sense of connectedness ( to your body, to your community, to your heart, to your mind, to the world) supporting healthy Endocrine function, supporting healthy lung function, immunity boost, dissolving tension and anxiety, and more.

In this 4 week course, join facilitator Alison Hord to break through barriers and heal in a supportive group. There will be active breathing, as well as learning about the benefits of this breath. Open the mind, free the heart, heal the spirit. Wear comfortable clothing, bring layers of clothing as breathwork may cause body temperature changes, and a journal.

Sample breakdown of 2 hour online offering:

Week 1- GROUNDING IN TRUST

6-6:05: Arriving to the space with journal, pen, blanket, and any objects that represent grounding (essential oils, stones/crystals, etc)
6:05-6:30: Introductions
6:30-6:50pm: Opening group intuition exercise
6:50pm-7:30: Explanation of the breath pattern/history/benefits + active breathing portion
7:30-7:45: “What does it take to feel safe in my body” journaling exercise
7:45-8: Q&A along with group processing on personal breathwork experiences

Each week has a new theme to uncover and discover more about the power of breathwork.

This course is for you if you:
-want a more holistic approach to healing the physical body
-desire deeper connection to your intuition
-are comfortable pushing through discomfort to find what you are capable of
