Virginia Czech & Slovak Folklife Festival

Experience the culture, customs and food of the Czech & Slovak families who settled on abandoned farms after the Civil War, and their descendants continue as community leaders here. There will be traditional music & dancing, delicious food, mouth-watering pastries and breads, Czech beer, agricultural exhibits, games and children’s activities. Discover the Prince George County Regional Heritage Center, which has a Czech-Slovak gallery, but also presents the broad history of one of Virginia’s oldest counties. It is a wonderful family event and Free; you purchase your food. Plenty of parking around County government complex and golf carts to bring you carry you back and forth.
