Midlothian’s beloved Southside Speedway hits its 60th anniversary milestone this year, and, like any 60-year-old, the speedway wants to throw down.

Southside Speedway, situated just off of Route 288 in Chesterfield County, has served as a racecar lovers’ hub since 1959. For the anniversary year, in addition to new pieces of swag boasting the milestone, the venue will be hosting “Old Timers Night” on Friday, July 26. Visitors have the opportunity to meet, greet and rub elbows with former drivers down on the track – and hey, their cars might make an appearance, too!

And, of course, racing fans can enjoy all of the regular seasonal events and offerings that the track brings to the Richmond region every year.
