Ashland Street Party Light Up the Tracks to get you in the Christmas spirit

What’s better than a holiday street party? When there’s chili involved. Ashland Street Party: Light Up the Tracks, Saturday, Dec. 7 from 6-11 p.m. at The Depot.

Petersburg is holding onto some beautifully historic buildings – and they look just fabulous all dolled up in their Christmas best. But don’t take our word for it; let the Historic Petersburg Holiday Homes Tour speak for itself. Sunday, Dec. 8 from noon-5 p.m.

Stuff that has nothing to do with the holidays at all…

Meet, mingle, and (most importantly) sip from almost a dozen Virginia distilleries at the Virginia Craft Spirits Roadshow. Let their spirits make yours high with plenty of samples and bottles to purchase. We sure can’t think of a better way to warm up this season… Friday, Dec. 6 from 5-9 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia.

This year, honor those who gave their lives on one of the most tragic days in our country’s history. The Commonwealth’s Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony, Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10:45 a.m.-noon at the Virginia War Memorial.

Pizza, dessert, and that tingly feeling of supporting a good cause? With wine available, too? Um, yes please. Pizza Bones x Offset Dinner to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis, Sunday, Dec. 8 at 5:30 and 8 p.m. at Sub Rosa Bakery.
