We live in it, we breathe its air, we enjoy its beauty … that’s right, it’s: the environment! Commemorate and learn about our beautiful earth at the Environmental Film Festival. Check out the website for times, dates, and locations. Feb. 5-18

They’re silly, they’re athletic, and they certainly don’t take themselves too seriously. They are, of course, the Harlem Globetrotters. Friday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Richmond Coliseum.

This week, get a peek behind the curtain of some renowned culinary business owners (like Gwen Hurt from Shoe Crazy Wine, or Chef Rhonda Russell, only female African-American to hold the title of Executive Chef of Wine Arts) at the Behind the Business Conference. Find out some of their tricks to success and hear stories of obstacles, perseverance, and inspiration. Saturday, Feb. 10 from 1-6 p.m. at the Dominion Arts Center.

The Virginia Repertory Theatre brings a unique look at faith in America with The Christians. Feb. 10-March 4 at the Theatre Gym at Virginia Rep Theatre.

See Valentine’s Day through the eyes of the Victorian era … and more specifically, the eyes of that romantic James Dooley, with Maymont’s Love Stories. Saturday, Feb. 10 and Sunday, Feb. 11 from noon to 5 both days.
