1.5 ounces rye whiskey
.75 ounce Amontillado sherry
.75 ounce simple syrup
.5 ounce lemon juice
3-4 slices apple
1-2 thin slices ginger
Muddle apple, ginger, simple & lemon. Then add booze, shake with ice & strain through mesh strainer into rocks glass.
Enjoy on the rocks or its best on crushed ice w/ grated cinnamon & splash pomegranate juice.
