The headstrong daughter of a wealthy family, the lovely Lydia Languish is fiercely determined to rebuff parental wishes and marry for love rather than money.

Retired NASA astronaut Leland D. Melvin was an NFL wide receiver and is an author, Lynchburg native, and University of Richmond and University of Virginia graduate. He will join the VMHC for special public events throughout the year, including this interactive program focused on his inspirational memoir.
